After the trip
As the trip ends we will head back to the dock where we can hang your catch up for some pictures.
I will then clean all the fish for you to take home with you. There are two ways you can choose to have the fish cleaned.
- The first is gutted, which is basically whole with only the gills and entrails removed.
- The second is filleted and then you would have the slab of meat from each side of the fish with the skin on.
State law prohibits the skin from being removed.
When packing your fish to take home be sure there is plenty of ice around them. Keep excess water out of the cooler to prevent the bags from getting water logged. Freeze fish in the amount fitted for your family or gatherings, the fish should not be refrozen.
